Pam Agnew, ABC is a principal of Clarity! Communications of Canada Inc. and an award-winning communicator. She has more than 17 years of corporate and agency experience in investor, crisis, corporate, media, stakeholder and sustainability communications on four continents for leading global companies as well as stock exchanges, securities regulators and large institutional investors.

Pam was most recently head of public affairs for Scotiabank where she led global issues management and media relations activities. She previously led communications strategy at the Toronto Stock Exchange around demutualization.

An Accredited Business Communicator of the International Association of Business Communicators since 1993, Pam has counseled boards, senior executives and professionals at a wide range of listed companies on investor relations, crisis communications, issues management, sustainability communications, stakeholder and media relations.

A former newspaper journalist, Pam has managed a wide range of crises for international corporations, from product recalls, financial crises and regulatory issues to industrial accidents and large scale community issues.

Pam leads the consulting services of Clarity and oversees the Global Rankings research program while also contributing to best practice guidelines for credible online communications.

She is actively involved in professional organizations where she volunteers her time and expertise to development programs. She is also an active community volunteer and fundraiser.

 

 

Dominic Jones is a principal of Clarity! Communications of Canada Inc. and the founder of IR Web Report. He has more than 15 years of experience in journalism, investor education and online investor relations communications.

His research and guidelines for online investor relations communication best practices have been cited and referenced by industry associations, academics and consultants around the world. He has been a speaker at seminars and conferences for the National Investor Relations Institute in the United States and the Canadian Investor Relations Institute in the area of online investor relations.

Dominic consults for leading international corporations and has been quoted by many financial publications on the topic of investor-centric online investor relations communications, including Investor Relations Magazine, Real IR, NIRI's IR Update; CFO magazine, Investor Relations Business, Investor Relations Newsletter, Corporate Governance Advisor, The Globe and Mail Report on Business, Financial Executive, and the National Post.

He was formerly director of investor education at the Canadian Securities Institute and its foundation for public education. There he pioneered popular Internet-based investor education programs and led the production of a wide range of innovative investor education programs and materials in collaboration with securities industry regulators, academics and industry associations.

A former newspaper and magazine journalist in Canada and South Africa, Dominic has authored several books on investing for retail investors and has served on securities industry committees in the area of investor education.
