The shortlisted investor relations teams across Europe have been announced by the Thomson Extel Survey Awards for IR Excellence. Sector winners and the best overall IR team and IR professional in Europe will be announced at the Real IR Annual Dinner at the London Hilton on Park Lane on September 14, 2006.

Audited by Deloitte, the awards are based on a survey of 3,192 fund management institutions that invest in European equities, with some 15,735 named individuals; and 433 brokerage firms with 11,414 named individuals.
