Eric Hageman: KPN
Eric Hageman has been appointed as the new Head of Investor Relations at Koninklijke KPN N.V. effective September 15, 2006. He was previously deputy head.
Hageman, 36, replaces Jantiene Klein Roseboom, who has decided to leave the company after nearly three years.
Prior to joining KPN in June 2005, Hageman worked as a corporate financier in London at Deutsche Bank en ABN Amro and advised companies in the Telecoms, Media and Technology sectors.
He is a Dutch national and holds an MBA from London Business School and a Masters degree in Economics from Maastricht University.
KPN provides telephone, Internet and television services to personal customers through its fixed network in The Netherlands. As of 31 December 2005, KPN served 6.9 million fixed-line subscribers and 2.2 million Internet customers in The Netherlands as well as 20.8 mobile customers in Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium. It employed 29,286 individuals.
