Tina Soin Sharma: Global Power Equipment Group Inc.

Global Power Equipment Group Inc. has appointed Tina Soin Sharma to the position of Director of Investor Relations.

In her new role at Global Power, in which she will report directly to John Matheson, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Sharma will be responsible for all corporate communications efforts, including communications with Wall Street analysts, shareholders, and the financial press.

Previously, Ms. Sharma served as Manager of Planning & Development at PennWell Corporation, a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based business-to-business media company, where she evaluated a range of strategic business development opportunities. Prior to PennWell, Ms. Sharma worked in the investor relations department of WilTel Communications, a national telecommunications company.

Ms. Sharma is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA from the University of Toronto.

Oklahoma-based Global Power Equipment Group Inc. designs, engineers and manufactures equipment for gas turbine power plants and power-related equipment for industrial operations, and has over 30 years of power generation industry experience.
