Jon Safran: Cooper Industries, Ltd.

Cooper Industries, Ltd. (NYSE:CBE) has appointed Jon Safran as director of investor relations. Safran, who will join Cooper from Austin-based Dell Inc. later this month, will hold additional responsibilities in business development and strategic planning. He will report to Cooper’s Senior Vice President of Business Development C. Thomas O’Grady.

I SAW today one of the big benefits that social/web 2.0 technologies will bring to individual investors.

I’ve been wondering a lot about this, how Web 2.0 technologies might benefit investors, and have been somewhat at a loss to figure it all out.

Eric Hageman: KPN

Eric Hageman has been appointed as the new Head of Investor Relations at Koninklijke KPN N.V. effective September 15, 2006. He was previously deputy head.

Hageman, 36, replaces Jantiene Klein Roseboom, who has decided to leave the company after nearly three years.
