Nelson Squires: Air Products

Air Products has named Nelson Squires to the position of director, Investor Relations. He will succeed Philip Sproger whom Air Products Healthcare has appointed to the position of vice president and general manager, U.S. Healthcare.

Squires joined Air Products in 1989 as a sales engineer in the company’s Gases business and subsequently served in a variety of customer account, regional management, and mergers and acquisitions leadership positions for Air Products’ global electronics business.
Since 2003, Squires has served as general sales manager, North America Merchant Gases, where he has been responsible for providing overall management of the sales function, including all merchant gas and liquid bulk selling activities. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University.

Founded in 1940, Air Products (NYSE: APD) provides atmospheric gases, process and specialty gases, performance materials and chemical intermediates. The company is listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability and FTSE4Good Indices. The company has annual revenues of $8.1 billion, operations in over 30 countries, and over 20,000 employees.
