Thomson Extel European IR Survey Winners Announced

THE best investor relations teams and best individual IROs across Europe have been announced by the Thomson Extel Survey and Real IR magazine.
Voting ran from March to June 2006 and the response to the survey, primarily conducted online, reflects the contribution of over 2,000 professionals from 750 buy-side firms, across 52 countries worldwide. From the sell-side, over 1,500 analysts from 150 brokerage firms/research houses participated, and 484 of Europe’s largest quoted companies also took part.
German software company SAP AG took the overall title for best IR by a European company while the company’s head of investor relations Stefan Gruber was rated the best IR professional. Both the company and Gruber were ranked fourth overall last year.
