Peter Campbell: Bull

Peter Campbell, formerly of Alcatel SA and most recently a financial communication consultant, has joined Paris-based Bull as Director of Investor Relations.

“I am very pleased to welcome Peter Campbell and to entrust him with this important area of responsibility. His international and multi sectorial experience will be important assets for Bull,” said Philippe Lederman, Bull’s Chief Financial Officer.

Campbell (38) has a degree in Engineering from the University of Aston (Birmingham) and an MBA from the Institut Superieur des Affaires at the HEC business school in Paris.

He began his career in 1990 at GEC Alsthom PlC Ltd as a software integration engineer, based first in the UK and then in France. A year later, he moved to Cegelec-Cogelex (Alstom) as Engineer in charge of international projects in Africa, the Middle East and India.

In 1998, he became a financial analyst at Alcatel, where he played an important role in implementing the group’s mergers and acquisitions policy, particularly in terms of analyzing opportunities and execution of financial operations.

In 2000, he was appointed as Director of Investor Relations for Alcatel, first in the USA and then in Europe, defining and implementing the group’s investor relations program in the USA and overseeing financial communications, as well as playing a key part in various strategic projects for the group.

Since 2005, Peter has been an associate consultant at Onsen Conseil et Participation, responsible for the firm’s financial operations business.
Bull designs and develops servers and software for an open environment, integrating the most advanced technologies and proposes a wide range of services, from system integration consulting to outsourcing.
