    Nice – another terrific idea!

    Hey, let’s face it, there are a lot of great ways to distribute company information more effectively. I’m glad Jonathan started the dialogue on a more official, formal, high level.

    However, I just thought of something – Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway now owns BusinessWire.

    Joe,

    Buffett seems to have broken his own rule about not investing in what he doesn’t understand.

    Business Wire and the other wire services are essentially Internet companies. Last time I looked, Buffett said he wouldn’t invest in them.

    Is there a future for Business Wire? I honestly don’t know. But it seems to me that they have nothing to complain about. They’ve had a nice run with a captive market.
