Stefan Rüter: Fraport AG
Stefan J. Rüter has been appointed as Fraport AG’s new head of investor relations. He joins Fraport from the Hanover-based Continental Group.
Rüter’s department reports to Dr. Stefan Schulte, Fraport’s executive board member for finance and construction, who will become the company’s deputy chairman early next year. He is responsible for communicating with the capital market, advising the executive board on capital market issues, maintaining contact with financial analysts and investors, producing the annual report, and other duties.
After earning his degree in business administration, Rüter, 34, joined Continental AG where he initially worked in corporate finance - particularly capital market transactions. Since 2003, he has been serving in the investor relations area of this leading German auto parts and tire manufacturer.
Rüter succeeds Christoph Hommerich, who is now responsible for real estate and property marketing within Fraport’s retail and properties management division.
Fraport AG owns and operates the international airport in Frankfurt am Main, Germany and offers consulting services for the privatization of other airports, including airport management, ground services and aviation security.
