As a professional financial analyst working for a major financial institution, it is more helpful when we can annotate the document with our own notes. I do this with PDF files when I can, but all too often I find PDF files that are “locked” and I am not able to add my own comments to the document. I have no interest in changing the document for others, but not being able to add my own notes to the report is a real inconvenience. If I was working on a paper document this would not be a problem. Please keep that in mind when publishing your financial reports for the public. Please let users add their own notes. We will appreciate it.
