One response to “JP Morgan takes high road over unsponsored ADRs”

It is interesting to see that JPMorgan has taken the high road regarding the creation of unsponsored ADR programs without the company’s consent. Company’s of all types of Depositary Receipt Programs need to re-evaluate their relationships with the Depositary Bank as our company has analyzed hundreds of Sponsored ADR programs and discovered countless risks and unilateral benefits to the depositary bank at the expense of the ADR company and its shareholders. Our analysis also includes very many of JPMorgan ADR programs. The ADR system needs correction and modernization, as it was created in 1927 and continues to operate the same today. ADR Company’s and shareholders do not necessarily understand what the precise implications of the creation and investment in ADRs is.
