I TOOK part in a webinar yesterday called “Let’s Get Digital” that was sponsored by the National Investor Relations Institute’s Virtual Chapter.
It was the first presentation I’ve done in a while and a good opportunity for me to put some perspective around the many new developments that are happening on the web.
My fellow panelists included Janet Craig, Vice President of Investor Relations at Nortel Networks, and Peter Schuman, Manager of Investor Relations at Intel Corp. The session was moderated by Nathan Elwell, Senior Vice President at FD Ashton Partners.
My presentation is embedded below as an 11-minute SlideShare audio slidecast, which several people have said they thoroughly enjoyed. I hope you like it too.

Excellent tutorial! I’m adding the “low hanging fruit” to my corpcomm meeting agenda for next week.
Hi Dominic! Incredible presentation. I got very happy to see that, although all the cultural barriers that still persists in IR departments, we have been able to do some real advances on application/integration/taking advantage of Web 2.0 in our clients.
With CCDI, a real state listed company in Brazil; we were able to lunch the first IR BLOG in the country. With Lopes, another big listed company in Brazil, we created the first IR channel of a Brazilian company in YouTube.
All of our clients offers an IR MOBILE version of their websites, and all of them offers fully useful RSS feeds. And almost all of our clients have agreed to adopt Slideshare to share their presentations.
Very nice to see that we agree so much about the amazing opportunities that, unfortunately, most of the IR departments are wasting.
