3. Provide better contact
information
In surveys we conduct around the world, contact
information on IR websites often leaves much to
be desired. For example, in a study I wrote about
on this site (see Managing
Email Inquiries from Investors), 27% of
the world's biggest companies failed to provide
any contact information for their IR departments
on their websites, not even a contact form. Of
those that did provide contact details, 35% never
replied to a test email we sent to them. We see
the same types of things time and again on IR
websites. Often we find contact information is
out of date or just plain wrong, such as typos
in email addresses.
