OF ALL the content that you can put on your IR website, stock quotes and graphs surely rank as the least remarkable. Almost every site has them, but few add value to the user experience or the company's value proposition.

Of course, it needn't be that way. A stock graph, particularly one showing a long and steady up-trend, can be a key part of your investment story.

Stock charts can also be a tangible indicator of management's accountability to shareholders when the chart lets investors compare the company's share performance to that of an index or to those of its peers.
