About the World's
Best IR Websites™
Companies recognized as having World's Best IR Websites™
demonstrate a strong commitment to keeping all investors
informed and servicing their needs on the Web. They have achieved
a high ranking in a demanding 134-point evaluation of their online
investor relations communication practices.
World's Best IR Websites™ are actively managed
to provide broad, deep and up-to-date information. They are designed
around the needs of investors and are easier to use than most other
investor relations websites. They also abide by good privacy pratices.
Each site is reviewed by experts at IR Web Report, the world's
leading source for advice on IR website best practices and intelligence.
How sites are
selected
IR Web Report's expert reviewers currently inspect the English-language
versions of 525 investor relations websites. Any company may request
its website to be considered at no charge. Companies in the survey
are mostly international large-cap companies in North America, Europe
and Asia.
Each company's investor relations website is inspected against
134 criteria that are informed by surveys with institutional and
retail investors. The criteria cover financial and corporate governance
information, shareholder services, securities trading, news and
events, and the ease of use of the site.

From the criteria, we calculate a total score for each company
that measures the overall effectiveness and credibility of the site
and its information. The formula has four inputs:
- Completeness of the site's content in terms of depth,
breadth and timeliness.
- Transparency of the site in terms the availability and
prominence of high-value information.
- Service attitude of the site in terms of resources and
services offered to shareholders.
- Ease of use of the site including navigation, information
design and technical formatting.
To be selected as World's Best IR Websites™, companies
must achieve a score over a specific threshold and meet other specific
requirements. The reviews conducted under this program are the most
demanding of any in the world.

Reviews conducted
by IR Web Report
Through its proprietary international survey, IR Web Report
has been continuously evaluating global online investor relations
practices longer and in greater detail than any other organization.
Its guidelines for online investor relations best practice have
been cited internationally by industry associations, academics and
consultants.
While the results of most of its reviews are not made public, IR
Web Report releases details of the highest-scoring companies
via the World's Best IR Websites™ program to recognize
the best companies and provide examples for other companies to emulate.
IR Web Report is independent of the site-building process
and advocates a steadfastly investor-centric approach to
online investor relations communications and disclosure. This is
because investor relations websites must cater to the needs of investors
or they will fail to be effective.
